Apple & Blue Cheese Pita Pizzas


5 tablespoons blue-cheese crumbles
1/4 cup fat-free mayonnaise
4 flat pita bread rounds -- without pockets
1 medium red apple -- cored and thinly sliced
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
2 tablespoons additional blue cheese crumbles


  1. In small bowl, combine 3 tablespoons blue-cheese crumbles and mayonnaise; mix well.
  2. Place pita rounds on rectangular baking stone or baking sheet; spread each pit with 2 tablespoons of the cheese mixture. Top with apple slices, walnuts and additional cheese crumbles.
  3. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are lightly browned. Cut pitas into quarters; serve warm.
