Hot Buttered Apple Rum

Ingredients:

4 cinnamon sticks -- broken
1 teaspoon whole allspice
1 teaspoon whole cloves
7 cups apple juice
1/3 cup brown sugar -- packed
butter
rum

Directions:

  1. Combine the spices in a piece of cheesecloth and tie with a string. Combine all ingredients in crockpot. Cover; Cook on low for 3-4 hours. Remove spice bag and serve in individual mugs with 1/2 tsp of butter and a shot of rum in each.
