Apple Casserole
Ingredients:
12 apples
4 slices of toast
80 ml Milk
1 tablespoon custard powder
2 eggs
30g sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon
Directions:
- Peel apples and cut into cubes.
- Mix milk with pudding mix, add the diced slices of toast.
- Separate eggs. Add egg yolks, sugar, cinnamon and lemon zest. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
- Finally, add the apples. Put everything in an ovenproof, greased pan and in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve hot!
