Apple Casserole

Ingredients:

12 apples
4 slices of toast
80 ml Milk
1 tablespoon custard powder
2 eggs
30g sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon

Directions:

  1. Peel apples and cut into cubes.
  2. Mix milk with pudding mix, add the diced slices of toast.
  3. Separate eggs. Add egg yolks, sugar, cinnamon and lemon zest. Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture.
  4. Finally, add the apples. Put everything in an ovenproof, greased pan and in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 40 minutes.
  5. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve hot!
